Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
At SpiriTrust Lutheran® we are committed to caring for the total well-being of those we serve and those that serve. We are closely monitoring ongoing developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and want to assure you that we are taking all necessary precautions to safeguard the health and well-being of our residents, team members and volunteers. Some of these precautions involve our life enrichment program, including the revamping of our Spirit360 programming. Other precautions include:
- Restricting access to the public spaces in our community. This means that all public spaces, including the Terrace Overlook, Hobby Room, Great Room and Fitness Room are now closed to residents, family members and other visitors. If you have business with a team member, please contact that individual by calling our main phone number at 717.673.0633.
- Closing our beauty salons until further notice.
- Temporarily changing our transportation to grocery stores policy to one resident per trip and through appointment only.
We know that these are unusual and challenging times. Please understand that what we are implementing is based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the PA Department of Human Services. Although some of these changes are regulatory mandates for our community; in all instances the measures we are implementing help insure the safety of you, your neighbors and our team members.
If you have any question about these changes, please contact our executive director, Marcia Hoffman.
